FOUNDER – KRISHNA BHATU

Krishna Bhatu, Founder & Designer, Dream Closet by Krishna, is a self-taught fashion designer, stylist and style curator from Ahmedabad with an individual style sense that is firmly rooted in Indian traditions and has global aesthetics.


Her eponymous label Krishna Designs reflects her design repertoire and a deep interest in the crafts and textiles of India. Having designed both bridal wear and western silhouettes, she enjoys the patronage of a large populace who want minimal, classy and yet artsy styles.


In last seven years, during her creative entrepreneurial journey, she observed a huge market gap for elevated daily wear. Gone are the days when we only dressed up in best silk fineries for occasions. Versatility and repeat value of outfits are as important as the style quotient of it.


Dream Closet by Krishna is a step towards solving the need-gap of elevated daily essentials for modern women in Ahmedabad by providing them access to emerging designers of India within a retail store format.
